Stores Inventory - Expensed Items

Question:
In our manufacturing facilities we use the Materials Management Module for our MRO stores materials. We enjoy the min/max functionality and MRP for our spare parts. Materials are basically received into the stores account and carried as inventory until issued to a Cost Center and General Ledger account. The inventory relieves to a point where it will reorder.
We have expensed items in our stores as well. These are bought via KB requisition referencing an account assignment and are expensed upon receipt. These are placed in bins in stores for free issue but we have to physically watch the levels in order to replenish.
My question to my SAP collegues is: Is there a way that I can have a seperate account in the SAP Storeroom where the received items would be expensed right away; but still have a functionality of min/max through some sort of issue scheme?
Quite the challenge. My initial answer was no but knowing this system, never say never... thanks!

Answer:
Material type UNBW would allow you to have the quantity visible in SAP and costs immediatly expensed when doing the GR.
Only you have to think about if those items are worth and able to be stock managed in SAP.
For example. We have nails and screws in our store room. They are defined as NLAG today and ordered to cost center, because nobody would do a goods issue for 2 nails, even the labour cost of the transaction in SAP would be higher than the cost of the nails.
