Question:
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to have a container status set to empty automatically based on inventory level when consumption occurs and have the replenishment created automatically as well? If my inventory level drops in increments of a container or partial container, I would like for the system to automatically set status to empty for the required number of containers. Right now, I have to watch the inventory level and do it manually.

Answer:
You can use the quantity signal for this.
Every time the material is consumed, make an entry for the quantity issued in the quantity signal.
When the stock level of container comes to a specified qty. it will become empty.
For this you also have to make the settings in the control cycle.
