Set PO Header text as a required field

I experienced that if you set "Texts" to display in OMF4, it is for all the text types (header texts + item texts). SAP confirmed (by OSS) that there is only one technical name, LTEX1, for the text types.
I was trying to make the header texts as display fields and the item texts as changeable fields, but this is not possible at all.
