Question:

I do PO release procedure using with classfication, I use class type 032, when I do it in custiomizing client, it is ok, when I transfer this change request to test client, and I setup class using class type 032, but this time when I check the customizing, system gives error message ME 179, "Please check the specified class or class type in Customizing for the release procedure."
I don't why?

Hi,
Go into transaction CL24 and assign the release group & strategy to the class (with class type 032). Then assign the characteristic values.
If you then go into customizing, the error message should have gone....

Class and characteristics are master data. They would have to be ALE'ed across and is not part of the transports. I suspect this could be the problem as you didn't have this issue in the Customising client.

I find the reason, because in the test client there is no allowrance to customizing, because of this, there is an error happened.
