Question:
Does anyone know if it's possible to turn Output Messaging OFF for an individual PO type?
When we create the PO and try to save, we get the pop-up saying something to the effect that "output messaging not determined, etc.....do you want to save anyway?" we always select YES.
But for reasons to long to write here, we never want to print, fax, etc. this certain PO type and would like to get rid of this message.
Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly.
if you don't define the message record for fax, etc, system will not create the message record. Tranx MN04.

thanks for your reply, but you are right, I have NOT created a condition record for this PO Type. Obviously, if I wanted to create automatic messaging for this PO type, i would have created a condition record.
BUT I still get the message. That's why i wondered if there is somewhere in the IMG where I could turn this off BUT just for this one PO type.
On the flip side, I thought of creating a condition record for this PO type so that at least it would automatically populate the header, message section and then I wouldn't get the pop-up message. But even when I try that, I still get the pop-up saying "No Message Record Could be Found for Output of Message. Save anyway?
Again, I just want to get rid of this message, anyway I can.
any thoughts?
