Question:
I am trying to set up the information structures in SAP. I am a rookie and am starting with info structure S021 for production orders. We are in version 4.0. I have read and feel I have followed OSS note 64636. I have also looked at other entries in SAPFans but have not found the solution to our problem.
Currently there is no data in version 000. When I do a setup using RMCFNEUA it appears to run. When I run tran code NPRT I can verify that documents were read. However when I run SE16 for S021 (for the production order info structure) there is no data in the structure. This would explain why when I run the standard analysis it says there is no data. Incidently, I have set user parameter MCR so I can overwrite the version and use my new statistical setup when I run the standard analysis.
In the update control this info structure appears to be set up with asynchronous updating. The performance settings (tran code MCRG) also appears to be set up.
I feel I have done everything documentation indicates. Is there a hidden box that needs to be checked?
Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

check OPL5 (Activate Update and Release Version for each Order Type).
Have you selected (Update ind.) for right order type =>(Indicator: LIS statistics are active
Indicator which specifies that order data is to be written into the logistics information system.

Thanks so much for your help. The order types were in the system but the update box in the background was not checked. When I looked for background configuration for the order types I must not have clicked in the right area.
