GURUS HOW DO YOU CONTROL USER SESSIONS???

Question:
Where do you configure the number of sessions that users can open? I have a hard time with users who open many sessions and overload the system. Please help!!!
regards
Toni
Answer:
I don't think you can. It defaults to a maximum of 6 and that's it. Someone else had better confirm that.
More so, the number of sessions open really only affects the end user. SPA/GPA memory area is a small allocation of SAP memory for communication between sessions, but that shouldn't be a drama if it's set to no more than 16000 (16KB).
User [re-]education is the best method of memory management. Yes... run your whopping report... yes drill down a mile... go to lunch without leaving that transaction.... *smack*
