Notification of failed transports

Question:
Hi!
I am sure others out there have done this. Is there anyway that an admin can be notified of failed transports by email etc? We are currently on 4.5B
Answer:
hi,
you must enable the workflow for the transport system.
you can do that in your system configuration (stms - overview -systems)

Answer:
Hi Fivel,
Is it possible with 4.0b? If yes, then would you pls. ellaborate in detail.
Answer:
Hi,
I think, there is a mistake.
The admins duty is to keep the SAP alive.
A wrong transport can ruin the system. So U have to check the return code of each transport and act immediatly if you see any problem.

Answer:
hi dharmeshd,
i think there's no way to that in 40b. you can look over ccms
or write an abap to check the returncodes.

Would appreciate your inputs.

STMS->overview->transport routes select system ->edit->system->change select Workflow controlled transports, then go back to STMS ->overview->systems ->goto->transport domain select Workflow engine tab.
