Hi, Gurus
Please tell me how to do FTP to SAPservx, rather how to confiture it? We are on SAP 4.6C.
we need one program from sapserv7 to download.
kindly do needfull as early as possible

You need OSS connection for the ftp access. See note 35010 ...

First of all you have OSS connectivity ?
if Yes , Check your saproute entry.
Check ping to sapserv ... eg. sapserv7 ip: 194.39.134.35
then use telnet ( where saprouter is installed )
telnet 194.39.134.35
login : ftp
password : ***

Yes we have OSS connectivity.our SAPRouter os on eventhough i can't do FTP to SAPSERVx, when i am pinging it is not pinging to sapserv7, all other sapservers i am able to ping.
what should i check in my saproute entry? what should be there for FTP?
I am also can't able to telnet any of sapserv....

OK ... here some check points.
1. You may only FTP from you SAPRouter machine, unless you install a FTP proxy in your SAPRouter.
2. You router cannot resolve the SAPSERVx name, you need to manually enter the IP in hosts table. (You may find the SAPSERVx IP from you OSS setup sheet)

Yes I am doing from server where SAProuter in installed. I have also entered ip of SAP server in SAProuter file. But it is not working.
