Print list with SAP Script problem
Hi there
I just about to implement a print list functionality, which make it possible to store print out on a WORM. The WORMS are managed by Ixos software.
This functionality is not working, when a report is developed in SAP Script.
Anybody have a solution (do not use SAP Script, I have considered , I will be pleased to hear about it.
Kind Regards
Mr. Larsen
this does not depend on the use of sapscript (well, of course i don't know about ixos but i do fine in easy). what kind of error is occuring when transfering spools to the archiver? pls specify ...

Hi
It's a strange error. I can without any problems archive other lists, but not the one using SAP Script. The error is a follow:
#################
Achiving not possible.
Message no. SSFCOMPOSER 028
Diagnosis
The system was unable to find information on how to perform optical archiving. Possible reasons are:
1. No valid archiving parameters were passed.
2. Your system is not configured for optical archiving.
Procedure
Pass valid archiving parameters, or check if your system is configured for optical archiving.

Hi,
I have had the same problem.
Please verify if your content repository is defined at the Ixos-side.
If so, please verify if the Ixos-system is active.
Good Luck

Hi
The Content Repository is defined at Ixos, and the archive is active. It's not a problem to store ordinary print outs - only if the are made in SAP Script.
Thanks anyway

Hello Mr Larsen,
I have the same problem, have you found a solution ?
Thanks.
Fredo.
Hi
No, I have not found a solution.
Best Regards
Mr. Larsen
Hello,
as far as I know you can only archive printlists generated by
ABAPs (without SAPScript). If you want to archive SAPScript
print outs (even if they are not printed acctually) you would need to use eCONText. This is a document
archiving tool from IXOS. I think it is called early archiving without
barcode.
