Question:
Hi Gurus,
Some data with particular hierarchy(key) in a single info.structure is changed. Want know how to find which program updated the records. any suggestions?
I was thinking of creating triggers at DB level to find timestamps in future. But no clue of how to find the program which caused the current problem.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Hi,
Its LIS. Flexible planning to be specific. There are defined hierarchies and characteristics. For example there is a characteristic Opening Balance and hierarchies like Country, Dist.channel and Division. Somehow the opening balance got zeroed by some applicaition logic. Want to know how to find which program caused it. There is no table logging activated. Is there a way to know dynamic SQL against that tables?

Would you by any chance know how the functional team configured the update of the "Flexible planning" table (... i forgot the table name but should be in the format SXXX) ... is it sync (V1), async (V2) or async (V3)?

... for V3, unexpected results might occur for the V3 update if there is a larger period between the individual collective runs (collective update) and many updates are executed (since key figures are updated in the LIS via data transport, the key figure in the information structure contains the value which was last updated) ...
... forgot to ask your R/3 version ... 'cause V3 is available only for 4.5+ (unless you implemented OSS Note 188368)
