Question:
Hi,
How can I change employee's Personnel Area?
I've tried to use Action: Org. Assignment (IT0000 + IT0001),
but does not allow me to save, due to the start dates.
Obviously, if I use the default date (hired date),
the error message prompts me not to use the same date of hiring.
But, eve if I change the start date to any dates after the hiring,
I get the message that the Employee is active since xx/x/x (hiring date).
Appreciate your advice.

Hi Guest,
Create an action called "change of Job" with relevant infotypes, that should solve your problem, and also will help you monitor similar changes through a report. (On the fields MASSG & MASSN).
Or try using transaction PA41, i think that allows you to maintain the Personnel Area field.
