im trying to create a user by copying sap* and im getting "SYSTEM LOCK ADMINISTRATION ERRO"........im getting the same lock problem if i try to access RZ10...ANY CLUE????

i have faced a similar problem in the IDES installation. the db was oracle. can u gimme the exact scenario of your system?
as far as i know the problem is that sap is unable to lock any table.

came to conclude that i didnt delete the /usr dir, hence the new installation cant keep track of the newly created profiles........

I am trying to create a user using DDIC.
I created a user JIMMY with all rights or so I thougt. I cannot loging as 000 client. I can log in as 800 client. with the 800 I tried to run the transaction /ose37. It says I have no authorizations for this transaction.

i dont know how u have given the authorizations. if u hv given using pfcg then u need to compile the profiles.
