Hi,
While simulating US payroll run, the log displays an error message- 'BSI communication failure'.
How do we get over this error. Replies will be most appreciated.

Do you get the error on everyone? If so, it sounds like the link between SAP and the BSI tax file is down.
We occasionally get this error on individual employees. Try going to IT 3 and see if the employee is getting retro'ed back. If so, change it so they don't and see if it works. There might be a reason they were retro'd back, so you could be causing that to not work, but this will get them paid in the short run.

When we get that message, it usually means that Basis hasn't set up BSI in the new instance.
Or, your payroll schema is referring to a BSI version not installed.
