HR Head Count report

any one has worked on Head count report.... I need to work on that...
Any information in this regard will be of great help for me....

What about the SAP standard one, Head Count Changes, it all depends on what you want out of it!!

first thing to have clear is an exact definition of 'Head Count'.
Which employees should be taken into account?
Does a parttime employee (e.g. 50%) count for 1 HCT or 0,5 HCT?
Are some cost centres/org. units excluded?
etc.
When you have a clear definition, only then start to look at SAP.

I generate all the HR reporting for my organisation and would thoroughly recommend that you get your organisation to 'sign off' the definition of headcount.
Basically ours is 'all employees on payroll as at the last day of the calander month' (for corporate reporting purposes).
Dates, obviously, are crucial. If you report on anything other than a single day then you are in danger of reporting on leavers.
Another pointer I would put to you is to also get the organisation to agree what it looks like at a corporate level (or whatever level you are working at) i.e Sales, Finance, Marketing, HR etc.
Lastly I would agree with Willie II - get clarification if you are talking about reporting on FTE or just bodies.
