Hi
can anyone tell me ..as to how to create a Production client.
i will tell u the way i am doing:
i went to scc4..and created a client there(say001).and mentioned this as a production client.
now i logged in 001 as sap*(pass) and entered transaction SCCL.
but it says that i cannot copy into production client.
can anyone tell me how to create one.
btw....i am working on BIW 3.0
i am doing this to create a connection with R/3.
if anyone has done that before kindly let me know the process.

Hello Ankun,
I think you shouldnt set your client as productive. set it as a test and after the client copy change it to productive.
In BW you cant overwrite you productive client with client copy and the prod. client mustnt be 000.

i got ur point.
but i am trying to connect the BW 3.0 to r/3 46c.
i need to run transaction RSA01(bw administrator workbench).
but in client 000..it says u cannot open it in 000.
when i open it with our development client(010)..it says open it in 000.
thats my real problem.
can u suggest something on this.

it's normal that you cannot do it client000 because you mustnt work there.
I'm wandering if you set the logical system for your dev. client in scc4?
