SAP Reverse Business Engineer
Can anyone provide a brief (functional) discription of what this SAP product is or what it does? On the surface it appears to be a system sizing / performance tool, but it is hard to weed through the marketing stuff to figure out exactly what it is.

Hi,
This tool, which is to be installed on your desktop PC, will get data through an ABAP program. This ABAP program is generated in your PC, through RBE, and then uploaded into the R/3 system.
What you will see is the functional configuration of R/3 : customizing level, by modules : configured and used, not configured, configured and not used. This tool will show you the functional areas covered by your current R/3 configuration. It can also be used to control customizing evolution.
Beware of the fact that this tool is based upon ST03 R/3 system statistics, so they need to be accurate.
It also shows you your specific developments, and how much they are used.
