Central Instance Installation Phase Failed
Hello
I am installing SRM 5.0 on Linux x86 64-bit machine with database Oracle 10g(ABAP+Java Stack). Following phase of SRM installation has been completed.
a.) SCS Installation
b.) Database Installation.
c.) Central Instance - Installation failed at phase Create java users - Creating SAPJSF user.

Any specs (specifications), especially the amout of memory you have put into the server.
In the other thread with "ABAP:..." in the headline there was mentioned, that a JRE was installed. Why not a JDK ? And was the uninstallation of the incomplete program successful ?
Try stopping the install and reboot the server. Then bring up the ABAP stack and make sure you can log on to it. If you can, restart the install and it should pick up where it left off.

I stopped the install. Stop the ABAP Stack. Reboot the Server.
Started the SAP System (ABAP Stack). ABAP Stack is running.
Then, Restart the install. The installation fails again at same phase: Create Java Users (3 of 15).

Hi again.
First: if an installation of a SAP System fails, it's essential to erase ALL software and new users including their home directories as far as possible.
This is the result of some failed MiniSAP 6.40 RC1 installations with Suse 9.0
Second: why don't you put the error message in a file and put it on webspace ? So everyone can decide to download it.
The installation fails again at same phase: Create Java Users (3 of 15).
-> delete directories /home/<Java User>

ABAP installation on SRM 5.0 sucessfully completed. ABAP is running fine. Now I am doing Java Add-in on ABAP. In these phase, SCS Instance Java Add-in on ABAP, Database Instance Java Add-in on ABAP are completed successfully.
Finally, when I do central instance Java Add-in on ABAP , the installation fails at Create Java Users - creating SAPJSF (phase 3 of 15). This is where the problem comes. The problem is in IBM JDK. That's why it's getting the error message:
