Average Weekly Earnings are not calculating properly

Question:
Hi,
Could anyone please help me out regarding this issue.
The Average weekly earnings are not calculating properly for us, find the details below.
July basic pay : 524.44 GBP aug basic pay : 524.44 GBP
ie., AWE = ( 524.44 + 524. 44 ) * 6 / 52 = 121.02
but the SMP is calculating 435.72 with number 4 weeks ( weeeks absence),
which is wrong .
The actual SMP amount should be 121.02 * 4 = 484.096.
I am not understanding where this difference is coming ,
Could anyone please help me on this issue.
Thanks,
Purandhar P
Answer:
My understanding of SMP is that it is 90% of the average pay, which is 435.72?
I suggest you recheck the rules from the Revenue.
good luck

Answer:
Hi Ozfan,
Thanks for your reply.
This 90% of AWE is not working for some of the employees.
As per my investigation,
I found that for some of the employees the wage type /211 is doubling and calculating AWE wrongly. I checked all the configuration about this wage type and found nothing.
Could you please give a clue what went wrong.
Also , advise the OMP 10% of AWE is not appearing in the payslip, could you please help out me with these issues.
Thanks,
Purandhar P
Answer:
averages doubling is the classic example of moving between gbsxp phase 1 and 2.
The averages settings moved tables between phases - it is no longer on v_512w_o but in table T51AV.
Check you dont have both set.
Answer:
Hi,
Actually in the payslip simulation , at End processing step ( ADDCU P30 step ), my wage type /211 is calculating twice, becuase of this the AWE is going wrong.
I checked in /211 wage type processing class 30 and conifugraiton is also correct ( no cumulation calculation). Then, again I went to table V_T51AV_2W (Assignment of Primary Wage Types to Average Bases config) and removed /211 tick mark against 1000 ( basic salary ) wage type, then AWE it is working fine and also SMP is 90% showing correctly in the payslip. Is this correct , or I did anything mistake here, Please let me know.
One more thing is , OMP amount is not showing in the payslip for this employee. I think it should show in the Payslip.
Please give your suggestions on the above issues.
Thanks for your help.

Answer:
if you are using GBSXP phase 2 then T51AV table is the correct one to use...i suspect since you have those tables settings you are using it. Instead therefore you should put it back and then go to v_512w_o and remove the average setting in there.
Omp will need to show (unless its bundled into another total on the payslip) - look at the payslip to see if you have it in either in the window or in a cumulation id for Maternity via PE51
Answer:
Hi,
Actually we are using GBSXP Phase 2, this was recently activated by me as per SAP suggestions to take active SSP age discrimination note 952553 and it works properly. But OMP is not showing in payslip, I tried by deactivating GBSXP Phase 2 then it is showing.
My PCR code is as follows
--------------------------------
000560 GBSXP X -Process Statutory absences
000570 PIT &OMP NOAB -Calculate OMP 10% topup.
Before this 570 line was above the GBSXP step, after activating pahse 2 I moved this line to current position.
If I deactivate GBACT feature and remove 'X' mark from 560 line, then OMP payment happening fine.
The code in &OMP rules is as follows
------------------------------------------
000010 D OUTWPPERSB
000020 ** ADDWT * ELIMI 13Y ZERO= R AMT/9 ADDWT 1115
000030 G4 ADDWT *
000040 G5 ADDWT *
000050 G6 ADDWT *
Could you please look into this and let me know how to proceed to get OMP in payslip with GBSXP Phase 2.
Thanks,
Purandar P
