Blocking a Payroll
Dear Memeber s
Is there is any way to block a payroll of person who has reached at age of 60 Years with out running of leaving of that person.
Maybe some fucntional configuration or HR Schema will allow this. Secondly from where I can learn that how to write HR Schemas and Rules.

Hi Adnan,
If you want to temporarily block the payroll of an employee than you can lock the employee in the payroll status infotype. This can have implications that when you unlock the employee , the payroll will run retro for this employee for previous pay periods during which he was locked.
In your case i feel the better way is to change the payroll area of the employee to SAP standard -99 which is meant for employees for whom payroll is not run.
