Question:
Hello All,
We have undergone an SAP Upgrade process very recently and currently our BASIS administrator when trying to update the text of a role is receiving a message "Text maintainance only possible with logon in original language DE of role message no. S#606."
Could anyone provide pointers as to why this message is received and how we can overcome it.

I and my Basis contact are reviewing the Note. Thank you.
To summarize:
1. Enter the PFCG Transaction code.
2. Entered the Role name.
3. Clicked on 'Change'
4. Received the message 'Text maintainance only possible with logon in original language DE of role message no. S#606'
We are no more in change mode and it does not allow to get into change mode.
