3rd Party Posting

Hello All:
We ran into a PRD problem with 3rd party posting, we ran payroll for PP14 and we have one employee that is participating in a deferred comp plan anyhow, the employee retroed in PP14 to PP13 due to some time changes. However, in PP13 all postings ran fine and all items were posted. However, when we try to generate the evalation run from transaction PC00_M99_U500 - Evaluation run, we get the same error with both our custom and standard schema U500 (Z500).
First what appears to occur is that even though we are running the evaluation for PP14 the error occurs in the eval in PP13 and terminates at the following point in the schema
REMIT 1 - P78 P73 and the error is as follows: "no entry existing for benefit plan xxxx"
The concern that I have is that in PP13 we had a successful posting but becuase of the retro it appears to be wanting to look for the posting item again.
Any ideas on how to correct this problem?

Answer:
from what you have said it appears that there is a change to the employees benefit plan. Benefits are held against and employee in various infotpyes, and it looks like the employee has a plan assigned to them that is missing some config which is causing time eval to fall over. You need to review your benefits config for the plan, assign the missing variable then rerun time eval. Once you do this your retro calc should run fine and any changes in posting will be posted automatically by sap with the rest of the postings.

Well, let me add a couple of more thing to this... I have attempted to re-create this problem in a TST environment, however, unable to do so.
The posting runs fine in TST and not in a PRD environment. But the config is exactly the same in TST and PRD. Additioanlly, the employee had no benefit changes from PP13 to PP14 it was the exact deduction that has been taken for the past 6 months. Additionally, the Wage type that is used for this benefit plan is the model wage type for 4 others and the others that worked fine and this one did not for this one employee.
I am at a loss regarding what to do. But it needs to be corrected prior to the next payroll run.
