Question:
Newley created wage types are reversing out of payroll clearing GL account. We have mapped the wage type to symbolic account and maped the symbolic account the relevant GL account - I think the config is ok.
Does anyone know why this may be so? please help

Answer:
Are you happy that they are correctly identified as either expense or balance sheet accounts.
Run the "Check Consistency of Customizing" to check the consistency of the config. I always check against similar wagetypes.
