Question:
Hi Good afternoon
here ia m suffering with a abscence type. i.e.
While i am entering the data for Sick Leave, it's not accepting on saturday and sunday which are holidays as per period workschedule, but in counting Rule i have given Tick Mark on saturday and sunday.
Can anyone kindly help me, pls

I may be wrong but it is my understanding that regardless of the day of the week, you cannot assign absences on a public holiday.

You can assign absences on non-working days and public holidays no problem.

Answer:
In your Absence type configuration, you would have specified the attendance / absence days. Specify it as Calendar days. It will work

When your defining your absence or attendence, kindly mention to calender days. Then when you enter your sick leave, it can take on any day irrespective of public holidays.
