Hi all,
I just started my job as basis consultant and currently doing some system check as my daily routine and having some questions and confusion regarding to:
Is there a way to check users' daily activities (including developers)? eg: what programs are they running, etc.(besides SM21)
Besides that, in SM37, where can i find the description for every jobs, means what is the purpose of the specific job? is there any table that contained the information ?
Any advise is kindly appreciate.

1.) explore tx. STAD and ST03N (transaction mode)
2.) there isn't! you cannot add a lot of documenting text to a job and anyway - who would understand? e. g. job-step contains abap rmmmperi, documentation says closing mm-periods. what would you learn from that documentation?

agreed, but you can only monitor so many users (depending on profile parameters i think it was up to 10) ... not more.

hi ,
i can provide you a module which works with sapgui, but does'nt leave any footprint. It records everything bet man and machine going out to sap server and vice versa. I have designed it for the ceo's and dep. chieves. It is a very effective tool to fire those sappers who are good for nothing and causes loss to the company and society.
The only condition, that you have to clear the problem with the data protection agency and eventually the trade unions before you use the software. Otherwise, use STAT with limited surveillience.
