Question:
hi experts,
If the hiring date of an employee is 01.01.1969 then the system is calculating payroll for that employee since his/her d.o.j, which is a time taking issue while having golive of a client who has 9000 employees.
Truely it's a problem which is disturbing me a lot.
My client want to run the payroll from the date on which we have uploaded the IT 0008 (i.e 01.04.2007 & having a retro effect from 01.04.2000).
If I set the payroll period of the payroll accounting area from 01.04.2006 then the system is not allowing me to hire the employee from 01.01.1969 & give him/her the same payroll area in IT 0001.
If I hire an employee in an other payroll area which has a start date of 1969 & transfer him on 01.04.200 in the new payroll area then also the system is running the payroll from 01.01.1969
Can any1 please help me out of this?
