Hi,
I am currently doing some data archiving (object WORKITEM). The problem is that the during the data archiving all the archived workitems will be printed. This is not a very good thing, since thousands of unnecessary pages are printed. In the variant "output work items as list" option is not selected, but it prints them despite of that. Of course I can choose for example FrontEnd printer or some "not correctly working printer" and then the work items are not printed physically, but anyhow it will create unnecessary spool/output requests.

Hi,
If you de-select "output immediately" in the archiving user settings using SU01, the output is still generated in the SAP system, however it is not sent to the printer. Does this solve your problem?

Thanks, that pretty much solved the case. I am just little bit wondering that why the system prints the "result" in the first place (because the output option is not selected in the variant), but it doesn't matter...
