appraisal dates
Does anyone know......
In 4.6c when you do APPCREATE the date of the appraisal period is automatically populated, where does it come from?
Also when we use Managers Desktop to create appraisals the date range is populated but greyed out, is there a way of making these fields input fields.
thanks

Thanks for this the appraisal modle is set up from 01.01.1900 - 31.12.9999. Its set up as an individual performance appraisal and thats it. Its a very simple set up as all they want to do at this time is just record that an appraisal has taken place and the period it covers. Have I missed something I can see anywhere else where dates are held.
I'm really starting to struggle now, the real problem is with Managers Desktop. I've OSS'd my problem but no one has opened it and we should be going live with this 01.04.07!
Wish I knew...

We used to be on 4.6c (now on ERP2005) and under 4.6 c we had our appraisals configured so that the default period is:
Start = 1st of the current month eg; 01.03.2007
End/To = 12 months hence minus a day eg: 29.02.2008
I have looked in the IMG for ERP2005 and this is defined in:
Personnel Management>Personnel Development>Appraisal Systems>Enhancements>BAdI: Default Period for Creating an Appraisal.
so may be similar in 4.6c
Cannot comment on Managers Desktop as we have never used it.
