Dear friends,
Now we are in the process of SAP India Payroll implementation. We are facing an issue regarding how to assign a cost centre to a wage type( Some of our employees working in XXXX cost centre where also working in YYYY cost centre as overtime ; and we are treating this overtime as a separate wage type) . If we could handle this criteria by assigning a cost centr to the wage type. Is it possible to assign so ?

In IT 14& 15 yoy can assign a cost center to arecord. Not sure about accounting part of it.

In IT0014 & IT0015 I didn't find any option for giving the cost centre . Please give the details

Answer:
Choose "Edit -> Maintain Cost Assignment".
This functionality is also available for other infotypes (e.g. time infotypes).
C1 splits are created within the payroll results, and postings are allocated to the relevant cost object.
