Question:
Hello
We need to create an employee Infotype 2 record for an employee who has an NI number with a prefix of SE.
SAP does not allow this as SE only came into use on 06.04.2004.
SAP automaticaly creates the start date of the infotype record as the employee's date of birth.
Can anyone help?
Answer:
create an intial IT0002 record with no NINO, then create a new one that starts on that date that the code becomes valid and input the NINO, and bobs your uncle!
Now that NINOs are no longer compulsary this should work fine.
