.NET Connector with VS.NET or Java Develoment with Eclipse ?

Question:
Hi,
as an additional to my Abap programming i want to learn an additional language / Environment for programming SAP-applications.
What do you think is more worth a look (and why / or why not) :
- .NET Connector with C# or VB.NET
- Java with Eclipse (and all the J2EE Stuff)
cheers

First advice: try to get familiar first with the news in ABAP...eg. all the tools/syntax in WAS 6.20 (and WAS 6.40). Believe me, there are so many things to learn in ABAP
I would go for Java...Java stack is already included in WAS 6.20....C# and VB is only via .NET connector, so it has much less integration / functionalities.
It also depends on what experience you have with Java or C#. If you are a C# guru, than .NET connector would be more fun for you.
You can order Netweaver (WAS 6.30) install cd for free in the SAP Shop. It's a Java stack (Eclipse based) with SAP WebDynpro for Java...it's a 90days trial package, but during 90 days you can see if you happy with it or not.
