Question:
Hi Sap fans,
We recently upgraded our R/3 from 3.1 I to 4.7. I'm currently responsible for fixing the BDC programs. In IW54 transaction the long text fields for service order i.e., RQM03-LTEXT1 to RQM03-LTEXT8 have been replaced by a single text field to enter long text. My problem is neither am I able to see the technical info for this field nor capture this field in a new BDC recording. Can you guys help me tell to which field in a table/structure in dictionary this field refers to. This is kind of urgent. So, please respond immediately. I appreciate your help guys.

Hi Alex,
First try to find out the parameters TEXT NAME, LANGUAGE, TEXT ID, TEXT OBJECT from the long text screen using the menu path
Go to -> Header
using these parameters, call the funtion module 'SAVE_TEXT'.
