I want to create on Functional area, i have done following.
SQ02, given one function are y_abc to create, but the system displays,
convert first
What can i do ?

Hi,
In the 'Environment', click on 'Query Areas', you will get two options 'Standard Area' and 'Global Area', select the 'other area' ie other than the default one. I do not have the system othewise, I would have given you the correct one - did it looooong loooong back. Let me know if you still face problem.

But in the 'Environment', when I click on 'Query Areas' i get follwoing message in bottom

Diagnosis
Before you work with queries, functional areas or user groups in this
work area, you must convert the objects.
Procedure
Get your system administrator to convert the objects. The ABAP Query
Release Information for Release 4.0A describes how to convert these
objects.
