Question:
When I log in my option to choose the "SAP standard Menu" is greyed out. How can I make it blackened so I can access the SAP standard menu??

Check the entry in tabel SSM_CUST to see if it is turned off or look in SSM_USERS to see if you have been set to use the user menu only

Table SSM_USERS doesn't seem to exist on my system. Is there a transaction for me to set the menu? Is it authorization issue?
Answer:
Look for table USERS_SSM Or something similar. This is generally not an authorization problem but a system setting that turns on/Off access to the standard SAP menu
