Question:
1) I already created the recording in MAINTAIN OBJECT ATTRIBUTES. I also created the SOURCE STRUCTURES, SOURCE FIELDS and STRUCTURE RELATIONS. But the problem is, I cannot create FIELD MAPPING AND CONVERSION RULES. The only fields that I can see are TABNAME and TCODE. Why is this so?
2) If I will be using Standard Batch/Direct Input in OBJECT ATTRIBUTES of LSMW, how can I change the Program Name? Can I add Object and Method so I don’t have to use object 0555 (HR Master Data)?

probably u might wanna check again on source structure
source fields. You have to get all the previous steps right
to proceed .
Also click on 'OBJECT OVERVIEW' in the initial screen that
lists the steps involved in LSMW and ave a look if
something is not showing up.
Else delete it and re-record again and follow the steps one
after another
regarding 0555 ... u re using pgm RPUSTD00
goto se38 n hav a look at the pgm n its documentation.

would help you in future.

if you really read the documentation, it doesnt say there how the definition in LSMW can be changed. What is specified in the help document is what you should do if you decided to add other fields.

Hi AquaMArine,
1) If you cannot see target fields in field mapping and conversion first make sure you assigned proper field names in recording (instead of recorded values), also make sure you checked the 'Initial fields' flag in view options in field mapping (via pressing Ctrl-F7).
2) You cannot change program name in LSMW for direct/batch input object as it is customized in SXDA. I have not an experience with SXDA customizing, so take a look into online help or search the forum.

Thanks for the help! It is now working. I noticed one thing though, how come the Employee Number skips by 1 if I would create data via LSMW? Example: last personnel number is 1000. If I will create 4 records thru LSMW, the personnel number that will be created are 1002, 1004, 1006, 1008. WHy is this so? If I will manually create data, this will not happen.

This looks weird. Maybe there are empty lines in converted file? Anyway, if it creates personal master properly and does not create any empty records then leave it as it is.
