Question:
Can someone offer some insight into idoc statuses for standard procesing?
I'm looking to pull all idocs from their status so they can be edited.
Say a PO item has 100 pcs of a material XXX, and an inbound order confirmation/ASN idoc for this had material YYY and 90 pcs.
In the standard idoc processing, would there be a standard status set for incorrect material?
And if the PO guys want a tolerance on delivered qty (say 10%), if the ASN idoc had 85 pcs would there be an automatic check on qty, and what status message would it be?

Answer:
Usually the status for an IDoc with Data Inconsistencies is 51. 53 would be successfully completed. When reading the status you also need to read the status message in order to diagnose what the error encountered during inbound processing was.
