Question:
i have infotype with fields in change validation.
the infotype is in single field validation.
The single field validation function allows you to export just the field objects that have changed from pervious period to current period.
If the field object has not changed, the "#" character is exported.
my problem is that i have two records in the same period
and there is no change in any fields except start_date end_date
and i don't get the "#" character to the other fields in the export.
why...............? and what should i do.......?
Answer:
Changing the dates will create a new record and that is why you are getting the whole record as changed.
