Hi,
Sorry if the same question ask b4 in this forum. I tried to get this topic but could not find any.
I'm having 2 field on my customize screen. The search help for these 2 fields are come from same table.
Base on the 1st input on field1, the search help(hit list) on field2 must display base on the value on field1.
May i know how to do that?
Pls comment.

When you are writing a select query for getting values for second field add first field what you have selected in where clause. In that case values pertaining to to first one will be displayed.

I'm using search help that i created in SE11 and then embed it on my screen. I try to restrict the hits list on the 2nd field but failed.
Any ideas?

Hi
pls got thru he following procedure
firstly create a search help in se11.
after creating it open the table in the se11 and point ur cursor on the field on which u want to create the search help ,then select the goto menu u find the search help option click on it enter the search help name and execute it activate ur table
now when u press f4 and select the particular value it will fill rest of the text boxes automatically.
hope this will solve ur prob.
