SIS Info structure
Hi All,
We have an SIS Info structure that needs to be populated with sales historical data for the years 2001,2002.
Can somebody explain me the steps involved in detail to update the info structure.

There's two methods to update SIS Structures. The "SAP approved method" is using transactions...
OLI7 (sales orders)
OLI8 (deliveries)
OLI9 (billing docs)
OLIX (copy/delete SIS versions ... your standard version is '000'... other versions can exist, but '000' is what transaction MCSI reads)
1. Run OLIX to delete version '&(1' of the structure in question
2. Run OLI7, OLI8, OLI9 to update version '&(1' - selection criterias of your choosing...
3. Extract the contents of the structure in question for version '&(1' to verify the data built from history.
4. After verifying...etc... Run OLIX to do a copy & delete. Make sure your target version is '000' and No copy method is selected (methods are a whole other area), do not copy initial records
Now, if you need to change historical data, that's another (longer & more complex) story...
