Answer:
Just make sure that the file you are uploading has no spaces after the last record.
If your text file is ok.. then check your bdc program vs recording.
They should be identical..

Run through the screen sequence in foreground i.e. carry out the transaction and make sure that you haven't left out any screens like popup boxes.
Answer:
sometimes you can choose for sertain views. For example when you change or create a material with transaction mm01/mm02 you can choose views.
When during the recording view 1,2,3,and 6 where selected and the next screen button was used, you must select the same views when you run the program. Otherwise you wil encounter screens or fields that where not recorded. You will get an error message like you discribed.
