Question:
Am unable to do....development class is always display only when I'm
looking at program or object attributes....All other data elements in the block are active and I can change...just can't touch the Dev Class....My Security wizard says not caused by security setting.....Ideas?

Hallo Indy..Most probably U R using the class in your program wich is active. Comment all the coding concern to that particular class and try to modify the class. Umm.....Hope it solves U'r problem. Best of luck..Sri

In SE80 right click on the program name. Choose More Functions then Change Development Class.

When you create a program the system asks you for a development class. Once you have set the development class it will be in display in the program attributes.
If you need to change the development class you can do it so by
1) Going to SE38,enter the program name and Program-> Reassign (in 31X )
or
2)by running RSWBO052 in SE38/SA38.
