you write your formula/requiremens for SIS from transaction VOFM.
Enter 3 digit no (I thing 500 and less are reserved for SAP) to write the your own code.
There are already some SAP formulas available for your reference.
The no. you create is the number you need to assing in the update rules of SIS infostructure.

Need to put it in update rules.
Actually i need to find the open order qty and the amount for a material and then replace the system calculated figures with these.
