Question:
Hello all. I have added some custom fields to the Basic view on the material master screen. The custom fields have the exact name as their corresponding fields in the MARA table. I have also been sure to add the field names in the flow logic of the screen in question.
However, whenever I change a value in the field via the screen, the value is not saved in the MARA table. I even get a message that the material has been changed, but in reality it has not.
Any ideas why this is happening???

Never worked on it, But there is an OSS Note no 44410, which might help you.

After reviewing the OSS note, I found out that in 3.1 the projection view MARU has to be updated seperately when new fields are added to MARA.
