Does anyone know the code (4 digits) for a Goodmans 42" plasma to program my skyplus remote for use with the TV - the goodmans code doesn't work and neither do a lot of the more popular ones. If anyone knows then this would be great as it would save me trying the 999 combinations
I think its a GTV42P3 (if thats any help)?

This might help. In the instructions, where it says to point the remote away from the sky box and TV while you press buttons for part of the procedure, after about an hour of frustration, I took the remote into the next room for that bit and hey presto it worked first time.
This was after my wife telling me to do that half hour earlier. She said she remembered me doing it the last time, about 6 yrs previous.

I have no idea what ones I have already tried - the Sky guy ran through a couple of the more obvious ones when he reinstalled it and I couldn't be bothered running through 999 combinations but I decided to start today from 0001 - I think i got as far as 0030 before I gave up and FINALLY thought to ask on here first.

527,392,402,371,245,563,399 and 662 from the Satcure website.

Goodmans+Sky = no joy. Bought a Goodmans 26" LCD just before Xmas, have tried every code going, every webiste in existence and rang Sky and was given all their codes as well. Nada, Zilch, nil!
I even bought a new Sky remote, with Rev6 software in, which is supposed to support all the latest codes....................
The version of software in your remote is printed inside the remote, take off the battery cover to see it. If it's an old remote, it won't support a code for a new TV.............supposedly!
