Question:
I am looking for advice for setting up a digital projector system for my local societies meetings.
This is all new to me so would be very grateful for any advice, recommendations on equipment etc. I contacted Dell they recommended their Inspiron 6000 model.
I am not sure what interface is required between the pc and the digital projector I also need advice for a suitable sound system?

The Acer TravelMate 2403WXCi is a very good value laptop costing around £520 inc vat, it has also won a number of awards from various PC magazines. With regards to the projectors the most common connections are VGA, DVI and S-Video, so check the output of the laptop with the input of the projector.
If you are playing the sound from a laptop you can take sound out from the 3.5 jack plug easily via a set of PC speakers.
