I'm thinking of buying a small digital camcorder. But what I want to know is can I still plug it into the back of my vcr and put it straight onto vhs like I can with my old analogue camcorder?

What you need to check for is a 'video out' connector. Sometimes it's 3 phono connectors, a yellow one plus a white one and a red one. Other times it can be a small jack like the headphone socket on a walkman, normally you'd get a lead which would plug in here and go three plugs coloured as above or possibly to a scart plug.

I bought the samsung camcorder on offer from boots I'm having trouble getting it to play back on the T.V. I can get the sound but no picture. There are so many wires what with the freeview the video and the DVD
player I have no idea what is going on back there. Please could someone help?
