Question:
I need to buy a flat screen monitor, but want to get the best at up to £230. It has been suggested that I get a 17" and after looking at the monitor size I tend to agree. I don't play games, however might run dvd's off the computer. Mainly it is for msoffice work.
I have been using pricerunner to get an idea of prices, there are just too many monitors on the market, and I can't seem to get any good comparison reviews either.

If you do a search you will see there have been quite a few recommendations on this site for the 17" tft monitor from Aria. I have one myself. It's a Digimate & price with delivery was about £195. Not sure if they still have them at this price, but it's an excellent buy if they do.

Do believe Acer 17" models with basic speakers for some plinky plonky sounds(!) can now be found at comet for £190, very neat units with small thin frame.
But the best out there are always going to be the neovo screens I believe.
