Hi, I have had a crazy idea which might work, I am going to set up a website and people will pay for my service, however I want to find out the best and safest way to be paid, the payments will vary from $1 to $10,000(if Im lucky),however there are likely to be many $1 purchases, so are there any safe money transfer sites which transfer allow $1 money transfers free of charge or with very little charge. Pleased do not say paypal since I had a slight problem with them regarding as chargeback made buy a fraudulant buyer and I am still sorting it out. However I did not have seller protection and am not sure whether it will stop chargebacks. I basically want an online account which people can pay me through without them being able to take the money out of my account again.

hi, I looked on nochex and the charge 2.6%+20pence per transaction, however if my transactions are $1 then it will not really be worth it. Anyone know of any other ones which charge less?

If you are going to be taking reasonable amounts of money, you could consider a conventional card terminal with Streamline or Barclaycard. You would have to get a secure ordering system for encrypting card data. There is a monthly fee of about 25 pounds but transactions on credit cards are charged at a percentage (dependent on turnover) without the equivalent of Paypal and Nochex 20p fee per transaction. You would have to price in pounds rather than dollars as you cannot enter foreign currency into these machines.
