I have recently purchased an iPod video, which I think is wonderful. However I am fed up with getting ripped of by Apple, they sold around 34 million iPods in 2005 and yet they were not able to include an external charger with the iPod video and nano.
Please could someone recommend a reasonably priced (non apple branded) charger of an iPod video?

99/100 people don't use them. I never used mine. At risk of stating the blindingly obvious, you know it charges when connected to your PC?

Until the 5G (video/nano models) every other iPod has included a charger! I cannot think of any other electrical product that does not come with an external charger? I would imagine most people may want to take there iPod on holiday with them or away for a weekend without the hassle of taking a laptop for the sole purpose of charging an iPod?
As far as I am concerned it is just another example of apple being cheap.

Indeed, many MP3 players that charge via a PC don't come with external adaptors.
It's just one of those issues you have to look into before purchasing.
