Bulldog Broadband, any good?

Question:
Merry xmas everyone! my NTL £9.99 amonth broadband deal runs out this month, and am seriously thinking of moving to Bulldog! (at least that is what I am telling NT Hell) is it any good.
Thoughts please

Have a look at especially the compare section. Two isp's which may be worth considering are Zen and F2s

I've heard that it causes huge problems. Users have complained that they can't make phone calls whilst online, amongst other things, and others have complained that, for some reason, BT won't take them back when they want to get out of the deal.
In a nutshell it's not looking good. Personally, I think it's another case of "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is". I wouldn't go near it. Just my personal view you understand.

Anyone who has been on 'Watchdog' would certainly not have my business!

WE have just moved to Bulldog, and I'm sad to say that its not as good as I hoped.... (it might get better!)
The telephone echo's when we're on a call, and the internet connection keeps dropping.

silverfoxdude... sorry to hear your problem but - also sorry to say - you are not alone.
Also Bulldog purport to give 8 meg download but, if your computer isn't up to it, you won't notice any difference anyway. All a bit pointless really.
My ISP - Force 9 from the PlusNet Group - are carrying out trials of 8 meg properly alongside BT with some city users in London. When they have it sorted they will be rolling it out with warnings about not seeing any difference if the PC's not up to it. They don't want folk wasting their money upgrading if nothing changes!!
Please do keep us updated on how things progress for you. I hope they improve.
And soon.
